ABC moves “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” Due to the chaos of the Capitol – Deadline

UPDATE 2, 5:15 pm … Late at night with Seth Meyers will join The late show by going to live. The NBC show will be broadcast live from 12:37 p.m. with Nicolle Wallace and Killer Mike as guests.

UPDATE, 16:56… NBC joins forces with ABC to replace its prime-time program with media coverage. It will broadcast live information between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. ET, replacing the new episodes of Chicago Med, Chicago fire and Chicago PD For PT and MT time zones it will be broadcast Chicago say again.

ABC moves three episodes of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire out of the schedule to make way for a three-hour special report on ABC News.

The Disney-owned network was set to release three celebrity editions of the classic game show, starring Amanda Peet, Zachary Quinto, Karamo Brown and Ray Romano, but that has now been replaced by a news coverage headlined by Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos World News Tonight Anchor and Editor David Muir.

‘Sunday Night Football’ on track to be best Primetime show for 10th consecutive year

The news special will air between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET. For PT and MT zones, Shark aquarium reruns will air from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., while in Los Angeles, KABC will air Danger! and Wheel of Fortune between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The network provided wall-to-wall coverage of today’s events, which saw a crowd breaking into the Capitol and disrupting the joint session of Congress certifying the constituency votes since 2 p.m. ET.

Elsewhere, CBS AND Fox are in conversation with their news division about prime time projects tonight. We will update as more news arrives.

Fox has the second episode of The masked dancer and the first of Name this tune, while CBS had scheduled rehearsals of Young Sheldon, The Neighborhood, Seal Team and TO CRUSH

CBS ‘ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert goes live tonight to cover today’s events. The original guests were to be Samantha Bee and Normal people Paul Mescal. Again, we will update as we get it.
