Allu Arjun-star Sarrainodu and Allu Sirish-star ABCD – Confused American Born Desi were the most viewed movies on TV last week. The Hindi dubbed versions of these Telugu films generated the highest TRPs, according to recently released BARC ratings, showing increasing interest from Hindi speaking audiences in their films.

Sarrainodu and ABCD recorded an Average Minute Audience (AMA) of 4,863 and 4,016 respectively. In fact, it even surpassed Baahubali’s TRPs – The conclusion aired on TV the same week, which recorded an AMA of 3609.

Appreciating the love viewers have shown for his film, delighted Allu Sirish says: “I am so happy to hear that Hindi audiences have enjoyed watching ABCD. Honestly, I didn’t expect this level of audience. It was perhaps the fun aspect of the film that most connected with Hindi audiences. I thank viewers for their love and keeping them entertained will be a priority for me as an actor. “

According to Manish Shah, director, promoter and owner of Goldmines Telefilms, which had acquired the Hindi satellite rights of ABCD, “Entertainment content works well on television and we are happy to see ABCD reach out to hindi speaking viewers. ABCD is a fun movie and Sirish played the part really well with his performance and screen presence.
