Acorn / Sundance acquires ‘The Drowning’
AMC Networks broadcasters Acorn TV and Sundance Now claim US and Canadian rights to four-part identity thriller Drowning. Produced by Noel Clarke and Jason Maza, Unstoppable Film & Television, supported by All3Media, the series will premiere on streamers on May 6 after becoming a hit in the UK, where it aired to 2.8 million viewers on Channel 5.
