The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic has severely affected the country. With the number of daily cases crossing three lakhs, several states have either announced the lockdown or imposed restrictions on the movement of people. Strict action is being taken against those who flout COVID-19 rules and protocol. Amidst this, actor Jimmy Sheirgill and 34 others were booked into the Punjab for defying the Punjab lockdown.

Bollywood actor Jimmy Sheirgill who was filming for the webseries on Tuesday night Your Honor in Ludhiana in Punjab was booked with 34 crew members for flouting lockdown rules established by the state government.

Reportedly, a police officer said 150 crew members were shooting for the series at Arya Senior High School in Ludhiana at 8 p.m., two hours after the city’s curfew was enforced. A lockdown has been imposed from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. in Punjab to stem the spread of the pandemic. When police arrived at the scene, the crew were seen filming a court scene. Actor Sheirgill stars as a judge on the show, which is an adaptation of an Israeli web series of the same name.
