Amazon Prime Video announces Marathi Photo Prem movie release date with intriguing trailer: Bollywood News

Amazon Prime Video and Everest Entertainment today announced the exclusive digital premiere of upcoming drama Marathi Direct-To-Stream Photo Prem on May 7 in India coinciding with the long-awaited launch of the film’s trailer. With veteran actor Neena Kulkarni leading the way with Amita Khopkar and Sameer Dharamadhikari in key roles, Photo Prem is an interesting tale of Maee, a housewife who seemed worried about being forgotten by future generations after her disappearance because she isn’t at her best in the “ old photos ” of herself. The film captures Maee’s journey to overcome her fear of the camera and eventually she manages to click on a perfect image.

Photo Prem is produced by Aditya Rathi, Mehul Shah and Gayatri Patil and is directed and co-written by Aditya Rathi and Gayatri Patil. The trailer gives a glimpse into Maee’s meaningful life where she begins to worry after seeing a childhood photo of a deceased person. The thought of not having recent photos of herself makes her wonder how people will remember her once she leaves this world. He takes Maee on an intriguing quest to capture this defining shot for an image.

Of her film, debutant director and co-writer Aditya Rathi said, “Photo Prem is an unusual story of a very usual scenario that everyone can relate to. It beautifully portrays the most common emotional and human side of anyone where they start thinking about how the world will remember them once they cease to exist. I am happy to collaborate with Amazon Prime Video, which will allow us to reach audiences from all length and breadth of the country, beyond the Marathi speaking viewers. Building on the recent release of our film Picasso on Amazon Prime Video, we’re excited to now feature Photo Prem on the streaming service. Needless to say, Marathi cinema has rolled out some great content recently and I’m sure Photo Prem will be a great addition.

Veteran artist and lead actor Neena Kulkarni said: “Photo Prem has such a nuanced and thoughtful storyline and it was nothing short of a privilege to star in this movie. The movie portrays one of the purest and most innocent emotions and I did everything in my power to do the character justice. The quintessential “Maee” story in Photo Prem deserves to be presented as widely as possible. It’s a movie for everyone and I hope it will be filled with the same quantum of love that we made it with.

While attending a funeral, Maee, a typical housewife realizes that in situations like these, people are often looking for a photo of the deceased that can be remembered. She realizes that being the photophobic that she is, she doesn’t have a good photo to put up after her. This leads her to believe that she might just be forgotten by generations to come, because without a photo they won’t be able to relate to her. Worried, she embarks on a quest to overcome her fear of the camera and get a good photo. But will she be able to have an image that defines her? And will people be able to relate to it?
