Clive Anderson to Host ‘My Seven Wonders’ Podcast Series – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Clive Anderson, who hosted the UK version of Who owns it anyway?, signed up to feature a biographical podcast format, produced by Stakhanov and Alaska TV.

My Seven Wonders with Clive Anderson will feature the presenter asking famous guests to name their Seven Wonders of the World. Nothing is off limits, the interviewees can choose everything from culinary delights to the people they admire.

The series will launch on February 17 with Irish actress Dara Ó Briain. Other guests will be David Baddiel, Shappi Khorsandi, Griff Rhys Jones, Ian Stone, Olivia Lee and Mary-Ann Ochota.

Anderson said, “I have been playing with this format for quite some time, and so far My seven wonders turned out to be a joy to do. I’m used to doing relatively short interviews on TV and radio, but this podcast allows me and my guest to have a longer, more relaxed conversation.

Stakhanov COO Luke Moore added it was a “really original angle on the interview podcast,” while Alaska Creative Director Ian Lamarra said. that it was a “simple but intriguing format”.

Stakhanov produces UK podcasts, including Football ride, while Alaska announced its stint in the middle last week with Emilia Fox’s real crime show When it bleeds there is a risk. Fox is the star of the BBC crime drama Silent witness.
