Mike Emanuel has been named Fox News’ chief Washington correspondent, after serving as the channel’s senior congressional and political correspondent.
The network has also appointed Jacqui Heinrich as Congress Correspondent, where she will work with Congress Correspondent Chad Pergram. Heinrich, who started in the new rhythm on March 1, was a national correspondent.
The network described Emanuel’s new title as an expanded role in which he will continue to report on “all news from the nation’s capital.”
Emanuel covered both the impeachment process for President Donald Trump, the Jan.6 assault on Capitol Hill and the presidential election. He has also reported on international stories, including the 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, and visited Iraq in 2005 to cover the first parliamentary elections after Saddam’s overthrow.
