‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Chandra Wilson opens up about responsibility for ABC drama amid coronavirus pandemic – Deadline

From masking moments to demonstrating the impact of race on healthcare, ABC Grey’s Anatomy has taken the coronavirus pandemic head-on. Chandra Wilson, who plays the show’s strong willed Dr Miranda Bailey, said she and her co-stars know that starring in TV’s biggest medical drama comes with a sense of duty.

Stars who joined the YouTube series agreed that the coronavirus had shaped the series both on and off screen. Camilla Luddington said there was little mixing with her fellow actors on set to avoid transmission, but joked that she said Grey’s is “the safest possible broadcast on the air” given all the PPE. “There’s no way you can get through this time without being fundamentally changed,” Wilson said.
