Robert Moore, the Washington correspondent for ITV News in Britain, went viral and received praise from his peers for an extraordinary report following supporters of Donald Trump as they made their way into the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday .

Moore was at the heart of the carnage on a historic day in the U.S. capital, riding the wave of crowds as she banged the doors and windows of the Capitol building, and calmly reported the events as they went. ‘they were unfolding around him.

Moore’s dispatch was widely praised by his peers in the US and UK. Piers Morgan, ITV colleague and former CNN anchor, wrote that the Washington correspondent “captured the lawless horror of it all perfectly.”
