Jason Klarman has been named president of Fox Nation, Fox News Media’s streaming service, where he will oversee all operations, content and subscription acquisition.
Klarman was executive vice president of marketing for Fox News Media, where he oversees branding. He will continue to report to Suzanne Scott, CEO of Fox News Media.
Klarman will assume the new role after leading the transformation of Fox Nation into a lifestyle and entertainment department. John Finley will remain Executive Vice President of Fox Nation and Development.
In a statement, Scott said Klarman was a “great, creative and collaborative executive who was instrumental in launching Fox Nation in 2018. He was instrumental in the success of the platform, its Exceptionally high conversion rate at its low churn rate.
Klarman was part of the team that started Fox News Channel in 1996, becoming vice president of marketing before moving in 2001 to USA Cable, where he oversaw marketing for Trio and Newsworld International. He was also Executive Vice President of Marketing and Digital at Bravo Media and President of Oxygen Media, where he oversaw the rebranding. He was also Director of Marketing for Fullscreen Media. He joined Fox News Media as a consultant in 2018 and, in 2019, became executive vice president of marketing. He created the Democracy 2020 and America is watching campaigns, and launched the Fox News Books brand extension.
