In the midst of the pandemic, the government launched the vaccination campaign against the new coronavirus. Actor Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Meera Chopra has been suspected of receiving her COVID-19 vaccine through unfair means, but Meera has denied the allegations via social media.
On Sunday, actress Meera Chopra posted her statement on Twitter while denying the false claims and said: “We all want to get vaccinated and we are all doing our best to do so. Likewise, I have also tried to ask people I know for help and after a 1 month trial, I was able to register in one of the centers.
She added: “I was just asked to send my Aadhaar card. The ID that has floated on social media is not mine. I was asked for my Aadhaar card for check-in and this is the only ID I have given. No ID is valid until it has your signature. I myself have seen this so called ID for the first time, when she got on Twitter. I totally condemn such practices and if such ID was made, I would like to know how and why. “
