The Covid-19 hit the country and many stuntmen in the entertainment industry found themselves unemployed with no other source of income as the shootings were stopped. Even after filming resumed, only a few of them returned to work due to strict Covid-19 guidelines.

Now it looks like a ray of hope has finally returned for these artists as Salman Khan and Netflix India have stepped up to help the stuntmen registered as part of the Movie Stunt Artists Association. The association’s general secretary, action director Aejaz Gulab, in a conversation with a tabloid, said they had not received any help so far. They are now receiving help from Salman Khan, and the money will be transferred to the accounts of the members of the association. He also said that even Netflix will help their association, so there is some relief for members who have been sitting at home without work.

Earlier in the first wave of Covid-19, Tiger Shroff and Ajay Devgn also provided assistance to the stuntmen.
