Siddharth Anand’s adopted child reunited with birth mother and family: Bollywood News

Bollywood Hungama previously reported that filmmaker Siddharth Anand was stuck in some kind of complicated custody battle. The filmmaker and his family had welcomed an adopted baby into their family, who was rescued from Borivali Station in Mumbai where he was found with his mentally ill mother. The mother was sent to a rehabilitation center and the child was handed over to the CWC (Child Welfare Committee).

The child protection committee, then, with the help of the FSC (Family Service Center) was sent to his new foster family, that is, with director Siddharth Anand and his family.

Now it turned out that the child has been reunited with the biological mother and the mother’s parents who have taken responsibility for the child. Sponsorship support was also organized for the child.

According to a reliable source, “UNICEF followed the case and played a role in advising the DWCD on the procedures to be followed and in guiding stakeholders so that decisions are made in the best interests of the child. Subsequently, a meeting was organized by the Department of Women and Children to review lessons learned on this issue and inform procedures and guidelines for foster care.

Earlier, after the child’s biological mother was found to be mentally and physically fit, rehabilitation authorities informed the Family Service Center (FSC) that she longed for her child. They also advised to hand over the child to the mother and her family.

According to reports, Siddharth Anand and his family were emotionally attached to the child and did their best to keep the child. Siddharth is married to Mamta Bhatia-Anand and they have a son named Ranveer.
