EXCLUSIVE: WME and Anonymous Content signed young actor Taylor Zakhar Perez, who just played a role in the hit Netflix franchise directed by Vince Marcello The kissing booth.
Based on Beth Reekles’ novel YA, the rom-com teen follows the romantic adventures of Elle, played by Joey King, her bad boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi) and her best friend Lee (Joel Courtney). Perez first appeared last year Kiss Cabin 2, in the role of Marco, a handsome and charismatic new classmate who complicates Elle’s love journey.
Netflix reported that The kissing booth 2 was viewed by over 65 million people in the first four weeks on the platform.
Perez is expected to return for the third installment, which will debut this summer. It picks up where the second left off. It’s the summer before she heads to college, and she has a secret decision to make. She was accepted to Harvard, where her boyfriend Noah enrolled, as well as Berkeley, where her best friend Lee (Noah’s brother) is headed. Which path should she choose?
Perez, who continues to be replaced by Felker Toczek Suddleson Abramson, was also recently cast in HBO comedy pilot Max. Naughty by Ellen Rapoport, Feigco Entertainment by Paul Feig and Lionsgate TV.
