K-pop stars Jackson Wang, IU, Hwasa and Start Up cast Suzy, Nam Joo Hyuk are on Forbes 30 under 30 Asia 2021 list: Bollywood News

Forbes released the 30 Under 30 Asia 2021 list featuring some of the entrepreneurs, scientists, activists and young leaders who have worked hard over the past year despite struggling amid COVID-19. In the Entertainment and Sports category, name finalizing factors included “demonstration of leadership, impact, potential for success and the embodiment of the entrepreneurial spirit synonymous with Forbes. Other factors such as l innovation, disruption, as well as the size and growth of their companies in certain categories – play a role in the final decision-making. “

Among the names mentioned in the list are Korean pop stars. Legendary South Korean singer IU, real name Lee Ji-eun, is a well-known singer, songwriter and actress and is one of the names mentioned on the list. She has worked in the industry for over a decade and at 27 she is one of the best soloists in the country. She is well known for her performances in Korean dramas like Hotel Del Luna, My Mister, Moon Lovers, among others. She recently released her album ‘Lilac’ March 25, 2021.

Next name on the list is Jackson Wang, who is a well-known rapper-singer-songwriter from Korean pop group GOT7. Besides his group activities, he is an established musician in China and internationally. Jackson, 27, is the CEO of Team Wang Company and has several divisions, including the Design Department. He is the Fendi brand ambassador in China. With several unique releases in Mandarin and English, in 2021 itself, he plans to release more than 40 songs this year alone, as well as two albums – one in Chinese and one in English.

Another artist mentioned is Hwasa from MAMAMOO. Real name Ahn Hye-jin, she has worked as a singer-songwriter for many years. She made her solo debut in 2019 with the single ‘Dumbass’. In June 2020, she released her first EP “Maria” who debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard World Albums Chart and No. 1 on the US iTunes Albums Chart, making her the first Korean solo artist to take that milestone. She has collaborated with various artists including Dua Lipa on ‘Physical’.

Singer-actress Bae Suzy is also mentioned in the list. She started her career as a member of girl group Miss A under the company JYP Entertainment in South Korea in 2010. She made her acting debut with the television series. Dream high in 2011. More than a decade later, she continued her acting career in film and television. His latest work included the Korean drama Start-Up which was highly regarded by fans.

Actor Nam Joo Hyuk also makes the cut. The actor started his career as a model, then made his foray into Korean dramas and then films.
