Omar Sy and Louis Leterrier, respectively star and director of the hit Netflix series Lupine, team up with the streamer again for a 2021 French comedy sequel On the other side of the slopes.
The photo will see Sy and her co-star Laurent Lafitte reprise their roles from the original film, which was the story of two very different police officers who team up after the murder of a business mogul’s wife.
In the currently untitled sequel, the unlikely couple are reunited for a new investigation that takes them to the French Alps. Izïa Higelin (Samba) also plays the main role. Stéphane Kazandjian wrote the screenplay, Eric and Nicolas Altmayer produce. Production started yesterday in the French Alps. Netflix will be released in 2022.
The original On the other side of the slopes grossed $ 33.5 million worldwide.
